Cloth diapers that are slim and trim on NEWBORN?

I found my https://www.amazon.com/Proraps-Diape...ct_top?ie=UTF8

Prowrap Preemie covers today (my sis had borrowed them). I remember they fit my preemie until he was 10 lbs or so even though the tag says 2-6 lbs.

I also bought preemie prefolds.

I can't remember where I bought the prefolds, though I know I bought the covers on amazon because amazon told me so. ;)

Preemie prefolds work perfectly for newborns and then as burp rags or extra stuffing without being SO thick! I LOVE my preemie prefolds.

Any ideas where I might have bought them? :lol

What other covers work well for TRIM diapering newborns...esp newborns who don't have fat rolls on their thighs yet?

I had kissaluvs fitteds fit the newborn stage. They're gone otherwise I'd mail them to you. I don't recall any prefolds that are trim. Bird's eye flats, are trim, though, and they dry super fast.

Yea trim and newborn is a difficult combination.

My faves for the newborn stage were the kl0's (kissaluv fitteds). So soft and easy. :heart

That's why I loved the preemie prefolds. I'll hold off buying more until we see baby's weight. I have some already.

If you're still looking, I used newborn gDiapers and they were great. I don't like them for babies who are crawling but for a newborn they were trim and quick and easy.

the insert is smaller for newborns? I have a couple of g diaper newborn covers already. I was hoping a preemie prefold would fit into them.

I have folded a prefold and put it in a g-diaper cover. It works well. I find folding it in thirds the "wrong" way (not the way you would do it in a regular cover) was a perfect size (plus with lots of absorbency in the middle, which is what we'll want for our girls. :)

oops for some reason I didn't see this...sorry! Yes, the insert is smaller for newborns. I don't have any newborn prefolds, but I fit small prefolds in the next size up so it should fit.
