Is this based on the idea that "the woman does not have authority over her body, but the husband does, and likewise the man does not have authority over his body but the wife does"? In that case, does Debi also teach that the husband has to drop everything and meet his wife's physical needs whenever she demands it?

Its been over a year since I read it, but I think yes. Although, more focus was obviously given to the wife fulfilling this duty.
