Re: Household notebooks
What a great thread! My big goal for 2012 is to get organized and I am starting to make our home binders/notebooks. I think this will help with so many of the other changes we are looking to make this year (cleaner house, budgeting, meal planning, etc). I've already got a few good ideas and I'll be back to read more of the posts as I get set up. Thanks Ladies!:)

Re: Household notebooks
I could do with starting mine up again. I switched it to A5 size which was nice and portable but I can't put everything with it.

Re: Household notebooks
I use my emergency cleaning list like every 2 weeks, and my daily routines occastionally (every few days) but haven't really used anything else in there besides the paper in the back to write grocery lists.
at least its pretty :shifty |
Re: Household notebooks
Exactly Sam, at least it looks nice and pretty sitting there on my shelf:yes

Re: Household notebooks
I dismantled mine a few months ago when Ds needed a binder for his class and I forgot to pick one up over the weekend. It hadn't been used much except for menu planning, basic budgeting, and notes on the blank pages. Recently I've just been using an old ugly (think half used, left over from a college course taken a long time ago...) spiral bound notebook for those things. Still getting the job done but doesn't look as nice sitting on the counter.

Re: Household notebooks
I have one. I keep in it: bank info/statements. paystubs. medical appointment notes and medical history for each member of the fam. important papers and docs. Lists of our bills and their phone #'s and addys, in case of a lost bill. Reciepts that I need to keep.
I don't do the meal planning/recipes in my household binder, it'd be 3 feet thick! lol! I do that separate. |
Re: Household notebooks
I have a Home Management Binder as well, but I'm currently still putting it together. So far, I have many of the sections pretty much done - complete with tabs and all.
I am hoping that it will be finished soon, and I will try to share it! :) |
