How do you spice up a can of refried beans?
 
We are having shredded need tacks for supper tonight :yum and I wanna have refried beans too. What can I do to make them tastier?

Do you have a can of diced green chilies? Those make canned refried beans yummy. :yes

I cut up any veggies I have on hand (onion, garlic, peppers, corn) and sautee with cumin and cayenne then add the beans. I add rice often too. Makes everything stretch farther.

We are having beef tacos for supper. Not need tacks :D

I stir cheddar cheese and salsa into my beans while I'm heating them up. Throw in some garlic powder, onion powder, and chili powder. Sometimes we just eat it as a bean dip with organic corn tortilla chips for a filling snack.

lol i mix a can of refried beans into my taco meat, before adding the taco seasoning to the meat. :)

I'm not a spicy kinda gal :no :giggle so no green chilis here. But I added garlic cumin and chili powder and they were good. Thanks!
