Trader Joe's Organic 'Relax' tea...
 

I'm calling it my 'happy drink' :P~. I've started drinking it three days ago, and I"m in SUCH a wonderful mood. Its delicious (if you like licorice). Its just herbs, and organic, and I'm in LOVE with it.

ingredients (all organic): fennel, licorice root, rooibos, anise seed, cinnamon, gigner, cardamom, cloves, peppermint, strawberry leaf. :shrug3

Oooh, thanks! I'll get some next time I am there -- I hope this weekend.

We've been enjoying the Yogi Ginger Tea that we get there, too. It's a little spicy for me but DH looooves it with some honey in it.

a side note : Licorice root will raise your blood pressure.

Interesting. I have various relaxation blends of tea. Do you think it is the ingredients of the tea or the process of tea drinking...the hot water, the steeping and lovely aroma, slowly sipping the simmering brew..:shrug3 I love me some tea.:heart

Maybe all of the above.. but there is just something about it. The 'renew' one is fantastic as well. I gave it to the teachers in my dd's classes, and one yesterday grabbed me and said "WHERE did you get that tea?! My family and I LOVED it! So I told her where I got it , and promised to give her some tomorrow :giggle. So, its not just me :no. My sister dragged her 4 kids to TJ's today just to get some :giggle

they are all out of both local Trader Joe's :(.

I actually teared up on the way home- I had an awful day yesterday and was looking forward to stocking up when I went last night, and was so upset when they were OUT and told me they won't be getting anymore.

My sister got me 4 at her local trader Joe's so, I'll be good for a while.. but

Doing some googling it looks like its made with:
fennel seed, licorice, rooibos, anise, cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, cloves, peppermint and strawberry leaf.

So I bet you'll be able to find something comparable or make your own!:hug2

Cardamon is a common spice in Indian (and Finnish :giggle) food. Since Indian food has become quite popular, cardamon should be easy to find. If you find it in seed pods, I would just tear it open and take the seeds out. They will be sticky and smell delightful!

I asked at my TJ's about a month ago and they told me they just didn't have any in but it wasn't discontinued. I guess that's changed. :(

I was just at our Trader Joe's, and they had it for the first time since I saw this thread originally!!! :) You should check your local store to see if they have it back in stock! If not, PM me and I can grab some for you next time I'm there. :hug
