I'm looking for a good, reliable recipe for Christmas sweet bread.

My mom always makes stollen, and I have her recipe, but I don't really care for the texture of traditional stollen. I'm looking for something fluffier, maybe a bit chewier, not as rich. More like bread.

Or maybe a quick bread.

Did you find anything? I use this recipe (http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/bobby-flay/parker-house-rolls-recipe2/index.html) and you could do it up like a cinnnamon roll or orange roll or whatever you want--it's a pretty flexible recipe.

I ended up too short on time for a yeast bread, so I took a basic tea bread recipe and added candied cherries, raisins, almonds, and orange zest. It was good, if a bit on the sweet side.

But thanks for the recipe!:heart
