Since we've entered the phase of toys with small pieces (legos, playmobil, etc) I haven't been able to keep K's room clean. How do you manage toy storage?

Plastic lidded shoeboxes on a high shelf that only come down with supervision. :shifty
And pruning of the "not played with, but dumped anyway" stuff.

We got the shelving with bins. Each type of toy gets its own bin. Except Legos. We bought a Lego specific storage thing for those.

Right. She likes to dump the bins so she can use the bins for all sorts of creative endeavors. Bins without lids are definitely leaving her room! :giggle

Could you provide bins specifically for said creative endeavors?

I provide buckets/boxes/baskets/bags/purses because my girls do the same thing and it annoys me.

Bins with lids, AND most of them out of reach.
