Is this any safer than teflon? Anything I should know? Anyone own some? Does it scratch easily?

Oooh subbing :-) I think it's supposed to be safer, based on the fact that Teflon is illegal to make anymore and is going to not be sold in stores soon. At least that's what DH said, so someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Mil has one. It's really nice for making eggs.

Mom has it and loves it.

I have a good porcelain lined cast iron stew pot and LOVE it.

When I'm rich I'm getting Le crueset

DH is sold on it. We ended up getting one pan (12") from the local mom & pop shop here in the village and it does really well. It's about like having some well coated cast iron really.
