I did my first canning project the other day. It seemed to go fine. I put the jars on the counter and they sealed but the next day there was a fine dust all over the jars. On the tops and the sides. Nothing else on the counter had dust. Just the jars.
I washed and boiled the jars before I filled them and I used a water bath canner. Any ideas?
