I had an allergic reaction yesterday

And it was very strange. My face got red and swollen, my pores opened up a lot. My upper lip felt slightly numb. I took 2 antihistamine and it didn't get any worse. In the 24 hour time span i hadn't tried anything new as far as I am aware of. I did have crab but i've never been allergic to that before. Either way it was worrisome. Anyone have an experience like this? Was the second outbreak worse? Should I be worried at all?

I developed a seafood allergy out of nowhere. I haven't had swelling (yet), but it's my understanding that seafood allergies can turn anaphylactic without warning.

It's also common for seafood allergies to develop after childhood.
