It was a win! :woohoo

I made meatloaf yesterday, but had DH put it in the oven as I was at work. Was trying to figure out what to serve with it, as I worked later, and the kids have to eat early to get to swimming on Monday nights :think

I did an experiment, and it worked!

I cut up about 8 large-ish red skin potatoes. Threw them into a slow cooker, which I had oiled with a bit of olive oil (to avoid sticking) and put in some minced garlic. I cut them into...8's I think. Similar size to what I'd cut for roasting. Then I sprinkled with rosemary, salt, and pepper. Cut up a bit of butter (about 2-3 tbsp) and put on top. Turned it on high at 1pm. DH stirred them at 4, and turned down to low. They were really good. :yes :clap

Too bad the potatoes met their fate in the garbage can yesterday. Otherwise, that would totally be part of tomorrow's dinner. :yes
