Wallpaper in a laundry room?

Would you put up wallpaper in a well ventilated laundry room?

I'm not quite sure if it would want to peel, even though there doesn't seem to be a moisture issue in there.

I thought about stencils, but not so sure.

The walls are yellow, dark trim and cabinets, and white appliances. I want so put up something with gold. Is there a shiny gold paint I could use with a stencil instead?

I wouldn't because I don't like the look of wallpaper and because the thought of trying to hang it makes me twitch! But I can tell you that my mom had wallpaper in her laundry room in their previous house for years without any issues.
