What else can I do for a bad cough?

J cannot be sleeping well he is hacking so much. Ive given him mucin ex and an antihistamine. He has baby Vicks on his chest and EO in his socks. His head is elevated and I upped the humidity in the house. I'm at a loss. He does have water next to his bed to.

Normally the only thing to help our coughs is to start up the nebulizer/breathing treatments.
Does he use one or inhalers?

And dd2 used Little Remedies cough and decongestant and it works for her.

Maybe giving him a bath just before bed with the baby Vapor bath stuff in it will help? My girls almost look forward to sick time. Its the only time they get a bubble bath.:giggle

How old is he? If over a year old, I've heard honey in a liquid (tea, juice) can be soothing.

you did what i do. well, we do honey too, but mostly for comfort, doesn't helpt *that* much for bad cough.
it's a nasty nasty bug. hope he's better :hugheart
