My friend just gave me a big bag of maternity clothes. The last lady she lent them to reeeeally liked patchouli incense. I washedthe clothes, but you can still smell them across the room. Any ideas??

Can any of them be stripped or would that ruin them? Put them out in the sunshine for a while???

And I was going to second vinegar -- LOTS of vinegar. I poured the better half of a Costco sized bottle on my towels to get some stink out and it worked. I've also had it work on clothes or scarves and such that had body odors that my natural detergent couldn't knock out.

How much do you like the clothes? Are they worth the trouble?

I don't think I could strip them, most of them are delicate. I'm going to try vineger first, and then hang dry them outside.

My house smells like a headshop. :shifty
