Marvelous Monday cleaning challenge/to-do list

Kids are off school so it will be interesting to see if any tidying actually gets done today. :shrug3

Today's list:
clean microwave (it's REALLY bad :sick)
take out trash
make beds
fold a couple loads of clothes
wash at least 1 more load
do some straightening in the laundry room
make quiche for dinner
sweep kitchen
help DD1 tidy her room
water houseplants

Yet another cold rainy day here (where's the snow :snooty if we're going to be stuck inside at least let it be pretty :-/)

Goals:
empty the dishwasher
wipe tables
tidy living room
run a load of laundry
sort a load of laundry (I am doing so much better keeping up with that :dance)

curl up in a ball and sleep

I need to run an errand for a friend who just had a baby this afternoon (new baby squish :melting).

I made dinner last night- beef stew stewing in the croc pot. :dance which is also lunch today. :O

Today is my laundry day, so I'll be focusing on laundry. I got a head start on it last night. I mostly need to fold and put away today. I probably have 3 loads to wash + diapers. Not too bad for a Monday!

okay that is done. put some laundry away as well. listened to a message on the answering machine. looked at my list of to-dos and told the kids a couple of things I need them to accomplish today. then did another quick project in my bedroom.

now I'm going to do a bit of menu work.

Starting a new schedule today to help keep this house clean.. Problem is that today is hard core clean to get it to the shape it needs to be so that I can keep it that way with the schedule lol. DS is going down for his 2nd nap and its onto sweeping the living room, cleaning up toys, (vacuuming once he is awake).. And dusting. Then sweeping all bedrooms and dusting.. Flipping beds, washing sheets, etc.. I've done a ton already but still so much more to do!
