So what have you been canning lately? I've done some deer meat. Getting ready to can either french onion soup or just can my beef broth. Anyone ever do a homemade french onion soup? I'm a bit intimidated.

I think French Onion soup would do well, but I wonder if you should throw everything in raw and then can it? I think that would work well. :yes

How do you can your venison? I've been meaning to do it for a few years but still haven't done it.

I do it the "illegal" way and water bathe can it for a minimum of 2 hours from boil. :shifty

Hello there, lol! Yes it's me :P~! So I got my beef broth done today. MUCH better when roasting the bones first before making the broth :yes. I got 8 qts this time.

Next I plan to try and get some more beans done. I have a bunch of organic blk beans I want to do first (since I have them on hand). Anyone else have any canning planned?
