I am hunting for a REALLY good and well thought out family/work calendar. I have tried many apps of calendars but none seems to work because I am a write it all down kind of girl! I don't like the look of electronic writing, LOL.....so I need a good one that is well planned out for a busy WOH mom!

I don't know if it would be enough space for you or not, but I always enjoy Sandra Boyton's Mom's Family Calendar:

I :heart:heart:heart:heart the Flylady calendar. It is a little expensive (about $17 for just the calendar) but the squares are HUGE. There aren't any cutesy pictures or messages, just tons and tons of space to write. It is also bigger than a standard calendar. It is a 17 month calendar, so the current one started in August 2012. She always releases them in August to give everyone a head start on buying them and transferring all of their dates. I'm on my second and don't think I'll ever buy a different one. http://shop.flylady.net/pages/FlyShop_calendar.asp (http://shop.flylady.net/pages/FlyShop_calendar.asp) There are also packages you can buy with stickers for different things like doctor's appointments, etc. I just buy the basic calendar. I have mine hanging in our hallway next to our message board for invitations, photos, etc.

I was just coming to search this forum or ask about this same thing. I payed for and downloaded the Motivated Moms planner last year, and I cannot find it on my computer anywhere :hissyfit I am thinking about just paying for it again and getting it, but if I am going to pay again, I am wondering what else is out there. It's only $8, but still :sigh

I use a Mead at-a-glance calendar that I grabbed from Wal-Mart. It has a monthly calendar at the beginning of each month, then each day has a full page, divided by the hour. This is *perfect* for me. I'm in school f/t, work p/t, single parenting, and involved in church and other things. I love being able to jot things down on the calendar page, then put in in specifically on the day page. Then it's very clear to me where I have open time and where I don't. And, there's enough space on the day pages that I can write a to-do list, addresses, things like that. :)

The one I have is like this... http://www.amazon.com/AT-A-GLANCE-Triple-Monthly-Appointment-70-206V-05/dp/B0088VRZDS/ref=sr_1_8?ie=UTF8&qid=1357536883&sr=8-8&keywords=mead+at+a+glance+daily+monthly

Except mine is a July to June, and didn't cost that much...

Ah, and it's the size of a regular notebook. But, I love love love it. I use it, and it does what I need it to do, which is the point. ;) The best planner is the one you'll use, right? :giggle

I looked there - I couldn't find it. I bought a new one and made sure I saved it to my desktop so I know exactly where it is! :giggle
