Carpet Tiles

Anyone have any experience with carpet tiles?

We need new flooring. We plan to rent this place out eventually and I love the idea of being able to remove damaged tiles and replace them.

What has been your experience with carpet tiles?

DH's aunt has them in her back room. They're really nice.

When we had our office built onto the back of our house, we opted for peel and stick linoleum that looks like granite. We chose that because of the traffic with kiddos and dogs in our house.

We ordered some carpet tiles for E's nursery. They were so thin we could see through them. They were returned the same day they were delivered. :shrug3 Maybe higher quality/expensive tiles would've been better.

We had them in the family room. They got wrecked when our geriatric dog got confused and thought downstairs = outside. :( The ones we had were as nice as regular carpet, IMO.
