A few years ago, I won some painting lessons at a women's event with a door prize. I don't have an artistic bone in my body when it comes to painting, but I thought it would be a bit of fun.
So I started the lessons, and got a fair way through an oil painting (with LOTS of instruction!!). Then DH got sick, then we left for Thailand, and I never finished the lessons. I forgot all about it.
Well, I bumped into the teacher at the shops the other day, and she encouraged me to come back and finish off the painting, which she still has. So I am going tomorrow, and not sure how much longer after that - until I finish it. I'm kind of excited!
