How often do you change the sheets on your bed/kid's beds (baring accidents) ? :think

When I was in the groove before dd was born, it was every Monday. I :heart the smell and feel of clean sheets :)

Dd is now 9 mo old and I am no where near any kind of house cleaning routine. So, maybe??? Once a month.

The goal is every other week, ours one week and kid beds the opposite week. Mine usually is changed that often, but I have been known to let the kids beds go several weeks if life is too busy.

I change ours every week, unless the baby spits up in there. I only change O's about monthly, unless she has a diaper leak.

the goal is every other week. Sheets one week and bathroom rug and shower curten the other. But :bag that hasn't' happened lately.

um... I changed them sometime between going to the beach in August and Penelope being born in October. Grace's didn't get changed then because she has way too much stuff and I"m not about to risk the fallout from moving it myself! ;)

So, sheets here get changed when they get messed up. Ours are going to be changed today because last night Penelope's diaper leaked and she slept for nearly forever so *I* leaked :) Not just on my side of the bed, but when I moved over to the other side (dh left for work at 3) I leaked there too! ugh!

So really I have no idea how often I change sheets... maybe every couple of months? I'm really bad....

when there's a gap in the laundry and I know I can get them all done in a day. Maybe every 2-3 weeks ish?

Ours - when I walk in the bedroom and smell that 'the sheets need to be changed' smell :shifty. My children don't use sheets :giggle. They have non-traditional sleeping spaces - one is on a couch with blankets and one is in a big bizarre futon-couch cushion-pillow-blanket-sleeping bag-fort-nest thing she's been evolving for herself for quite some time :lol. I change out their blankets if they spill on them or when they get yucky.

Weekly. Every now and then it stretches to every other week but then I get back to weekly. When dc was little, if there were accidents of course there were more changes.

I wash all of the blankets seasonally pretty much. The top quilt maybe more because of the cat leaving hair behind.

Motivated Moms has you do it every other week, but I couldn't stand it. I'm pretty bad at housekeeping, but I change sheets once a week religiously.

Maybe once a month? Maybe less? It's something I need to get better at for sure! I always do it after an illness. I did ours last week and need to do the kids' this week.

Weekly. Or more. I *might* have an obsession with the fabric softener smell...:shifty

hardly ever it seems like!! :giggle
I bed share, and seems like 4yr old DD still sleeps on me more than the bed really, if they don't smell, and don't look dirty, they're fine ;)

I change the kids every other week, but mine every few days. I like clean sheets. And sometimes our sheets get... messy. :shifty

When they're dirty. Sometimes that's quick sometimes not. :) No real average.

I try to do them every week but haven't been succeeding recently. I used to do it once a month or so, but then "How Clean is Your House?" changed my mind (I think when I read the book), talking about the build up of unseen debris in the bed, and I agreed with it that I wouldn't go a month without washing clothes that I wore every day (even a sweater - it might go a month between washes if I only wore it periodically but when worn I like to wash it after a few wears)

Every 2-3 weeks unless DD spits up on them, or unless we are getting sweaty while we sleep.

I am also trying to get into a routine to do it more frequently.

Our sheets get washed weekly....two weeks if I'm really off my game.

The kids sheets get change at the start of each month (the big boys switch spots in the bunkbed that day). Ds3 is still not 100% night pee free, so his get changed much more often, when they get wet.

Fortunately, I just changed them yesterday, so I don't feel like a housekeeping loser after this thread. :shifty
