My husband loves his lawn. We moved in this June, and he has coddled the thing until it is a green carpet. There are mowing stripes, for crying out loud. I teased him last week because it was slightly shaggy, after several days of rain. He looked at me like I had insulted his mother, kicked his dog, and let the air out of his truck tires all in the same afternoon.
:bag So it probably wasn't my best move to toss a smoking hot pizza stone out there, two nights in a row, was it?

I was *tyring* to keep Overly Curious Cat from scorching her paws yet again. I swear I didn't mean to torch his grass.
Wonder if Walgreens sells spray paint.
