I've been forced to use acrylic for some items lately :shifty

One of them was a Weeping Angel washcloth for The Boy, as I couldn't find TARDIS blue in cotton.

So I decided to try steam blocking aka "killing" the acrylic. Here's before and afters - it worked well, although I would have given it a couple more passes had my iron not died :shifty

True Story:

Me: "Hey J! Do you have any idea where the iron is?"
The Boy: "an "iron""? :scratch
Me: "You know, some people use it to smooth out clothes."
The Boy: "I know what one is, because I saw one at Grammies. I just wasn't aware we owned one."

:blush :lol

(it got a few water drops on it when my iron decided to go from "steam" to "sizzle" to "dead", but now that it's dry it's still nice and flat :tu)
