I need a sweet treat, now!

What a tragedy. I want to bake something sweet but I'm out of sugar. Help! Toss me your favorite sugarless treat! I do have honey/maple syrup/agave/powdered sugar/brown sugar.

Some of those use brown sugar. I didn't look at all if them though.

I subsitute brown sugar for white sugar in pretty much any recipe. :yes

Really, straight across? Do you pack the brown sugar?

I did just that (replace brown for white straight up) two nights ago. I made one of those chocolate cakes were it ends up having cake on top and syrup on the bottom. It took longer to bake and set but it was delicious and I couldn't tell the difference at all. :rockon

I think you can substitute pretty much any of those. Some of the liquid ones will need some other changes too, but I think they'll be good.
