Ok, so I went to the local health food store to get myself a calcium supplement because I've been lrtting that slide lately and I came home with this
http://www.naturesfare.com/store/calcium-magnesium/capsules/p-n-easy-cal-w-epo-mag-1.html
my questions are:
1. should I really be taking more than what it says on the bottle? They recommend 3 caps/day totaling 450mg of calcium. I think Allisonintx recommends about 1200mg/day
2. Is it safe for me to take this when breastfeeding or pregnant since it contains evening primrose oil? I'm not opening it till I get the OK from you knowlegable ladies so I can take it back if need be.
Thanks so much for your help.

1- It's fine. The mag will give you GI upset far before you would have any trouble with the calcium. Ask me how I found that out. :shifty
2- All I am finding are cover your tooshie answers via google. Maybe search the bf or preg forums.

EPO is ok nursing. I'm not sure about during pregnancy. My midwife doesn't suggest taking it until 36 or 37w.
