Does anyone here crochet irish lace? If so any suggestions on a book for a beginner? I'm Experienced at crochet including using crochet cotton and now I'm wanting to learn how to make Irish lace.

Looks like I'm going to go to the library to look and see if they have anything. At least that way i can kind of preview it before buying a book that might not explain it well.

I don't crochet very much at all, but my FIL crochets beautiful Irish lace.
I tried to convince him to crochet me an Irish lace bedspread, but he said he doesn't even love himself enough to make one to give to me in his will :lol

From how he explained it, it'd just regular crochet. Most of the dimensional pieces are crocheted separately and then attached :think
