I'm considering trying this tomorrow but wanted to hear tips and suggestions from folks who've tried it already. Do you get fairly crisp edges on the designs, or is it blurry? How do they wash up - and are there any tips on washing to keep the design from fading? Help, please!

No help, really?

I've done it!

The edges were pretty crisp - it helps if the design is not too detailed.

My biggest tip is that you should put protection under the fabric, because the paint will bleed through.

Here's the first one I did - and I must say it turned out pretty well... :O

You can tell around the feet some places where the edge wasn't perfectly clean.

I *think* backtobasicsmum has done them too.

Are you using paint and freezer paper, or doing the bleach spray/freeze paper? I've done the bleach stuff before, if that is what you are wanting more specifics on.

I've done it before (with paint). I made my son's 2nd birthday shirt. The edges were very crisp. The paint lasted through several washings, but it eventually started to crack a little bit.
It's not the best picture, and doesn't show all of the shirt, but here's the one I made:

I wasn't going to do paint, I was going to print a transfer on my inkjet printer onto the freezer paper. I didn't know you could do it with paint! But I can't paint this design so I have to do the printer thing.

Oh, never done that! I hope it turns out for you. :)
