So, I have one lonely ball (http://www.amazon.com/Patons-244077-77236-Classic-Merino-Yarn-Harvest/dp/B000WV85WM/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1342466916&sr=8-2&keywords=patons+yarn+harvest) of Patons merino in the harvest colorway. I was going to make a scarf with it, but the colors are way more vivid than I thought they would be. I don't think they'll work for me as a T2 :sigh I've looked at Ravelry til I'm blue in the face.
Ideas anyone?

Baby hats, stripes in a shawl (for someone else, like a T3 ;) ), mittens....
If you want to keep it for yourself, make it part of an afghan, or a cushion cover, or stuffed toys...

Knit a hat. Perfect for one skein.
Then assess.
Do you like it? Keep it and wear it happily.
Do you dislike it? Give it to a friend who likes bright stripes.
