View Full Version : Can you sew something into a bra to keep your nipples from showing through?

Since nursing babies I'm having trouble finding bras that my nipples don't show through. And the one I found is uncomfortable. :( So, is there any way I can create my own "concealing petals" effect in my old faithful comfy bras?

I use cloth nursing pads when I need to 'hide' things. :)

I use stickers from Oriental Trading company. :shifty No joke, they are completely flat, the perfect size, and sticky enough to keep things in place but not sticky enough to hurt when pealed off.

I've been doing it since highschool.

Link, please? What kind of stickers? Are they made for the purpose?

I wonder if I could put stickers on the outside of my bra, if I didn't care about sticky residue. :think It would have to be a bit convex, though...

No, they are not for that purpose. They're just kids craft stickers. I started using them in HS when I was too embarrased to ask and it worked well. :shrug3

I cut out a couple of circles of fleece that I've used with some of my bras in the past - just put them inside the bra and it seemed to hide them well. One of the things I love about my current bras are that they have a removable piece of foam in them pretty much for that purpose.

You need Dimrs (http://www.lindasonline.com/dimrs-silicone-nipple-covers-nude.html). :)

Those are cool! But they are kind of expensive for me.

I use these: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0062HKW3A/ref=oh_details_o04_s00_i00

They're silicone self-stick concave disks, similar to Dimrs, but much cheaper. :)

(Note: When I bought them a few months ago, the set included three round pairs; today I see that the photo is of two round pairs and one flower-shaped pair. My experience is only with the round ones.)

I like them a lot. They stick well and stay in place under my bra. Without a bra, they'd probably fall off, but I never go braless in public, so it's a non-issue. As far as I can tell, they leave no residue.

Hope this is helpful!

I wonder which I would like better, cloth nursing pads or silicone things :think
