Is it ok to use superwash wool for them or only regular wool?

Some people use super wash wool for days, but they won't work at all for nights. I only use hand wash wool, I don't like super wash for soakers/longies at all.

Is the knit picks wool soft enough for longies? I haven't felt it so i can't judge the softness.
