I just got a book from the library with a name like that hoping to find a dessert that fit that title.

I didn't.

I need a dessert that is "messy" for Huck's messy birthday party. The only think I've come up with is dirt pudding.

Any other ideas for something incredibly messy....

Rice pudding? Finger painting with leftover rice pudding? :shrug3

No about a regularIsh desert that you have to eat in a difficult way? Like with chopsticks or the handle end of a spoon? That would be messy.

Cream Puff Cake....extremely messy.

Giant puff filled with either vanilla pudding or custard. Then frost it with chocolate glaze the best you can.

When you slice into it the custard just kind of spills everywhere. ;)

What about letting them decorate their own cupcake? Each kid gets a plain cupcake, a little cup of icing, plastic knife and you can set out several kinds of sprinkles.

All I can think of are those nasty dolly madison/ hello dolly bars, but I doubt kids like them.

You could make Eazy Brownies (http://luvwhatyoudo.wordpress.com/2012/03/29/eazy-brownies/), and for even more gooey goodness, add marshmallows in the center. Totally not healthy AT ALL, but you could modify it if you wanted. I've never made them, just came across it googling and now I'm wishing I *could* eat them! :shifty :bag

ETA- I just realized I have everything I need to make these GF/DF egg-free. Dude, I'm *so* in trouble.

We made these last year and I can honestly say they were just "eh". It was a fun novelty but I would rather make homemade brownies any day.
