This is my book review of this book that I posted Fearless Knitting Workbook by Jennifer E. Seiffert (http://becauseisaidsothathswhy.blogspot.com/2012/04/fearless-knitting-workbook-by-jennifer.html)
I have tried to understand this book and do the patterns, and it just is too confusing. I give up.

:hugheart I find knitting to be too complicated to even want to try. :shifty

I enjoy knitting. It gives me something to do with my hands and keeps me busy in situations where I otherwise might be bored out of my skull. That includes when I am subbing sometimes - something like high school or perhaps middle school when they are testing and I need to watch them so I can't read, but I am not teaching or doing anything - I can knit and still keep my eye on the kids. I can walk around the room monitoring them taking a test while knitting if it is a simple project. :blush
I just cannot stand having nothing to do.
I also sometimes knit in church. :blush I get bored there too sometimes.:shifty

Knitting is more socially acceptable than what I do when I get bored which is puzzles. (Sudoku, Kenken and Crossword puzzles from the newspaper)
