Sewing Pattern for Kid's Vest?

I'm looking for a sewing pattern for a fishing vest/safari vest type thing for my toddler. I really want to make him a fishing vest to go with his boots for when he tags along fishing with his dad. I'm not having much luck even looking up Simplicity patterns, but I'm a total newbie at this so I'm not sure where to look. :scratch

Thanks! I think I could modify a basic pattern like this with pockets, maybe. That's a good site to search.. going to look around more there too.
