Over the summer my best friend came to visit. She's in school so she has a tape recorder for her classes. She came over one night to watch the kids so that dh and I could out on a date. She let my 6 year old play with the tape, and just discovered his recordings today. She played them for me tonight, and it just made my heart melt. He was soooo sweet. He named everything that he loves, all the people in his life an all his toys, etc. Then, from out of nowhere, he says 'Mommy and daddy use to spank, but we don't hit people. So they don't spank. And I looooovvvve that. It makes me really happy.' :heart
