What pasta to go with grape tomatoes?

I have lots of grape tomatoes from my garden. Thinking of making a pasta salad.

Shall I do angel hair or macaroni? I could do Italian dressing or a mayo dressing.

What else would go well in it?

Yum...I'd do a penne or a bowtie, but anything would work with the right sauce. Fresh basil, fresh grated parmesan or asiago, a little olive oil, you're good to go :rockon

That sounds good! I did macaroni and a little mayo and a teeny bit of vinegar and some basil. I'll add some parmesan cheese, although I'm out of fresh.

I do grape tomatoes, rotini pasta, olives, onion and italian dressing and chill for two hours. :shrug3 It is really good.

Oh, penne! With grape tomatoes, cut in half...cucumber slices...and a sweet vinaigrette.

Oh yeah. Penne or rotini with cucumbers, olives, feta, fresh oregano, balsamic vinegar.... Yum!

Penne or the multi colored rotini. Tomatoes, Cucumber, Peppers, Onion, Black Olives. Sauce is italian dressing and mayo Throw some fresh basil in there too. YUMMY Alternate sauce is Olive Oil, Lemon Juice, Oregano, garlic powder, and a little dill...toss in Feta Cheese for a bit of a greek flair:yes

I did a hot pasta last night (Rigatoni, round, fat, long tubes) with grape tomatoes and several other things (snap peas, scallions, bell peppers, previously cooked chicken breast) in a light sauce and it was fantastic. :) I cut the tomatoes in half, though, and tossed them in at the last minute before taking it off the stove.

I've now made several pasta salads with all these tomatoes I pick every two days!
