from kindle/nook computer apps to a kobu

Dh bought me a kobu for my birthday. Does anyone know if there is any way to transfer kindle/nook e-books that are on my computer to a kobu e-reader?

I barely glanced at it. :O I looked at a few more, in case it wasn't what you needed, but they were all written in gobbledygook gook so I decided that they wouldn't be helpful. :giggle

I went back to re-read it, but it appears that kindles and nooks use a different version of adobe that is not compatible on the kobo?
