We are taking them back to the animal shelter tomorrow to be spayed and neutered and adopted out. When we got them they were tiny little things that weighed 1/2 pound and 3/4 pound and we had to syringe feed them. They looked like this:

and they grew up and looked like this

and here is the most recent photo from a couple of days ago

and they are so sweet and we will miss them. :(
But, they are healthy and friendly and will get adopted into great homes.

I am not sure. I will see if they have any that need fostering tomorrow when I return these lovely ones.

Just got 5 new foster kittens. Will post photos later once they settle in and I get them cleaned up.

Well, these new little babies are sweet, but sick. That happens a lot - well - more often than not with fosters. They are very friendly, but I am worried about the smallest two. I keep them in the hall half-bath when I first get them - tile floor - and a couple have pooed on the floor and it is a bit - skip this if you gross out - mucusy and has some blood in it.
That is not too abnormal, and they are not eating much - which is normal if they don't feel well. I went on and mixed a bit of kitten formula and syringe fed the two tiniest ones - both weigh less than a pound - and they were not very active or hungry and did not eat much. :sigh
That is not a good sign. They are all a bit sneezy and I asked for anti-biotics and they gave them all shots instead. The shots must be cheaper, but they never work. So, I will do what I can for these babies, but if they still seem sick, I will bring the smaller two back in for evaluation and try to get med for them in the next day or so.
And, these are 5 out of a litter of 9. I did not take all nine. But, I am sure they are all sick w/ the same thing and I hope the others also get shots at least for it.
