Ug...bugs!

So I decided to give gardening a go this year. We are in an apartment, but I made a bed at my MIL's. I've planted it, FIL is watering it for me and I come every week or two to weed.

Came down this afternoon to a HUGE bug infestation! I think I figured out they are two lined potato bugs. Is there anyway to get rid of them outside picking each one off and squishing it? :sick :shiver

Also, the plants that have been more severely destroyed....will they come back?

We used to drown them in kerosene. There are sprays you can get too (organic ones that are safe for the plants) AFA if the plants will come back, there's not way to know for sure. Just keep taking care of them as you normally would and hope for the best! (Be diligent in watering/weeding. :yes )

IDK if it will work for potato bugs, but I'm liking insecticidal soap and neem oil.
