I just went out to check on my garden and noticed that next to it there are several spots of grass that have some kind of purple dusty-looking stuff on them. It comes off black when I rub my fingers over it.
We've had a fairly damp and cool spring, the yard has been squishy the last few days. Could this be some kind of mold or fungus? I've never seen it before and I'm worried that it will spread into the garden. :nails

Hah. Never mind, I googled and I think I figured out that it is slime mold fungus which doesn't need to be treated.
