So I planned this years garden off of the sun that last years garden got. I moved the tomatoes all into the end with the best sun and put the zucchini where there was a tiny bit of shade but not a ton. But right now it appears that the trees must of grown a lot and now the seem to be getting a lot of shade. I'm sad because I love zucchini but it's too late to move them. :(

Is it a good sign if the seedlings have grown since I put them in?

I think it's a good sign. How much sun are they getting?

I think mostly just morning sun. I was outside an hour ago (like 2 or 2:30) and they were already in the shade. I'm going to try to keep tabs on them tomorrow to get a better idea of exactly how much. I'm really mad at myself for not realizing it.

Spring growth in our back yard was HUGE this year. One corner of the yard that I did at least know to hurry and get back into to clean up before the spring growth started is now just about unreachable, and it wasn't last year at this time. We've had a lot more rain this year, I think. And the soil is a bit healthier since I've been working on it.
