Call me naive but I'm amazed.
We had a 'medium' roast chicken for Sunday Lunch, which means hubby and I both had a leg and the rest was for 'leftovers' for the week. I just picked the chicken over and basically there's enough meat for a chicken curry (2 evenings' worth), a chicken supreme (2 evenings' worth) and the carcass has enough meat on it for a nice chicken broth.
That's 6 evenings worth of food, plus the chicken soup. For £5. Wow
Either this was a particularly huge medium chicken, or I've done something wrong before now...I don't remember ever getting this many meals out of one roast chicken.
