can someone help me?

there's some tree growing in our back yard thats got some yellow berries on it.

i thought it was the pecan tree but that was so not making sense to me so i asked dh, and he said no its not the pecan tree (apparently the pecan tree is the neighbor's)

is there some sort of a database or something i can look in? maybe native texas trees, berries, it doesn't have any leaves on it so i have no idea. i'd like to know if these berries are poisonous are not though :( i'm afraid H is going to eat one.

Is there a nursery nearby that sells trees? Workers there might be able to identify the berry.

Is it a china berry? Their berries are yellow at some point in their growth. I played with these a bunch as a kid!

aaaand they're poisonous :(

might have to get dh out there to cut them down. they're still very small trees so better to take care of it now i guess.
