I'm tired and am overthinking this.

"bind off 2 STD at neck edge twice"

This has been worked in stockinette thus far. Does it want me to bind off two on the right side and then two on the wrong side?

I think so. :yes It should form a bit of a curve for the neck that way. Is it the front of a sweater? The back?

It's a front side of a cardigan type.

Then, yeah, that makes sense.

Or, actually (now that I'm slightly more awake) you should do it twice on whichever side of the cardigan (right or wrong) that gives you the neck side at the start of the row. I don't think you can cast off the other way, because you would wind up with a loose stitch in the middle of nowhere. So you could cast off, for instance, two on the right side and then again two the *next* time you have a right side. Or two on the wrong side and then the next time you have a wrong side.

I just noticed my OP. The instructions do not say to bind off STDs. :giggle

They do mean to bind off two twice on the curved neck edge...I just wasn't sure if that was two on a right side row and then two on a wrong side row, or do both on the right sides.
