I need a dehydrator because I already have an awesome book called Dry it, You'll Like It!. I don't know how available it would be... but I'll check.

Cool! It's still in print and everything:

Read the reviews. It really is a neat little book :yes

I do not know of any recipes or anything.
But I do need a good food dehydrator.
What kind do you have?
I'd like one I can order from Amazon so that I can get it ASAP.

Pickyourown.org has the basics of dehydrating fruits, veggies, leathers etc.

ETA- waht type of dehydrator did you get? I'm looking for one also

:popcorn

I got an Excalibur last summer and have done lots of dried apples(just slice, sprinkle cinnamon on if you want, and dry until pliable but not crispy) and sliced tomatoes from the garden, and kale that I use in soups.

Haven't done any "recipes" yet...

I need to get a new dehydrator. Mine bit it years ago and I miss beef jerky!

This is the one I bought! I'm SUPER excited! They have it on Amazon, except without the timer, so I got mine on ebay because they had them with the timer there, and I also got a "blemished" one so I got it for much cheaper! I dont mind a scratch or small dent cause i'm sure i will make my own too :grin
