What do I do with it?
Does it have a specific purpose?

I was just given some and have seen it in recipes here and there, but I don't know where to start.

I might add it to cashew cheese to make it taste cheesier. Use in place of parmesan on spaghetti. I made a mock doritos dry dip with it once upon a time. I think it had NY, chili powder, garlic powder, and onion powder.

This is what I thought. My DD does not do dairy, so I am hoping this will open up some new doors for us.
Bumping for more ideas.

I might try making flax meal crackers with it too. :think

Honestly though we've been without dairy for four years now and I found daiya cheese more helpful the NY.

Cheeze sauce:
1/2 stick margarine
1/4 cup flour
1/3 cup nutritional yeast
2-ish cups water or vegetable broth

Melt margarine. Stir in flour and slightly brown. Stir in nutritional yeast and water/broth until you get the consistency you want.

For mac & cheese: Stir in 1 tsp prepared mustard.

For nachos or enchiladas: Stir in some cumin and chipolte pepper.
