:roll I can't tell if I want one just for amusement value....imagine the toy it would make for the kids!

I saw that on tv the other day! I'm trying to think of things I actually make that it would be helpful for. (I'm a sucker for kitchen gadgets though!) :giggle

I saw this on tv and found it amusing.

But thanks for posting this thread - it reminded me that I had yogurt culturing on the counter that I had completely forgotten about. Needing to stir milk on the stove is what sparked the thought :tu

maybe dh would get his beloved banana pudding more often-- he likes it warm (made with cook & serve pudding) and I hate making cook & serve pudding

Cook and serve pudding is just wrong. :shiver

and that is exactly how he feels about the cold-made one. He likes warm banana pudding (with vanilla wafers & bananas). It just isn't as good if it is made with cold pudding.

I love homemade pudding, and I like mine warm, too. I don't like stirring forever, though.
And you could make risotto!

Risotto... pudding... (yum.. I'm the weirdo that likes the skin off the top of the cook & serve pudding...:giggle)

I'm thinking I just might *actually* have to get this...

BUT WAIT!!!

Call now and we'll DOUBLE your offer! (just pay separate shipping and handling)

What on earth would I do with 2?!? :giggle:giggle:giggle

Silly mama....One stirs your pudding, and one stirs your risotto! Duh!
(And I like pudding skin, too.)

With the memory of Thanksgiving dinner fresh in my head, that little gadget is looking mighty handy. ;)

...I might just cook since stirring mindlessly makes me feel like running screaming from the kitchen

I was wishing I had one as I cooked my oatmeal this morning. :think I think 2 would be nice, as one would often be dirty or in the dishwasher. :think

It looks totally useful, really. I don't have the time to sit and stir while I chop and parent wash and clean and unload and live.

But then, in the video there was a typo. And that basically killed it for me. :sigh

If I had one(or two) of those, and if it took rechargeable batteries that I wouldn't have to replace halfway through the 4 hours, I would be making a lot more yogurt and pudding.

Especially if it came with a built-in thermometer and alarm to let me know when it got to the right temp. :giggle

Give me that and I'm sold. :)
