to think i almost spent the day crocheting...

i whipped this up for a friend of mine who did not have the money to buy and fill stockings for her family this year.

i made this one for her 2 yr old and am planning to fill it for her, but she has a 10 month old too. i know she is going to love this stocking for her 2 yr old but i know she is also going to be disappointed that there are no equally as awesome stockings in stores for her younger girl. which basically means i have to get busy making a second.

the worst part is, i cant even get a hold of her to tell her!! her SO has her phone. hmph.

oh no, i just remembered she has an older daughter that does not live with her :doh what if she wants one for her too?! what have i gotten myself into :giggle

okay just as an addendum, because i'm SO excited i could burst, i went to dollar tree tonight and picked up stuff for inside. its got:

a tutu
a pair of dress up shoes
a pink light up clapper noise maker
four cans of play doh
3 bottles of bubbles
a few chocolate marshmallow snowmen or santas or something or other
some felt play food i made earlier this year
a little pot w/ a lid and spatula
a coloring book
a package of animal stickers
a fishy bath pouf


ok i dont remember what else, but i'm so excited i could squeal. sadly this is probably the thing i am MOST excited about this year and i wont even be there to witness the magic.

oh and when i went to hold it up the ribbon loop cam undone :doh i will have to fix that later for her!!
