I just wanted to share!! This is what $12.00 of fabric and some plain white t shirts can make! The fun part is, I have enough fabric to make two more skirts!!!

Those are gorgeous. I'm sure you could make them to sell very successfully.
Hanna Andersson is a Swedish company that makes gorgeous clothing.

Thanks everyone :dance it makes me happy that others can appreciate the work I did :)
I didn't make up the pattern exactly, but I didn't follow one either. I followed directions that were on a blog. I don't even remember what blog, because I printed the instructions off so long ago :) Just searched it...here are the blog directions that I followed:

Beautiful! My first thought was HA as well, but the shirts also remind me a bit of Boden. :)

I love them! I especially love the first, as I am currently on an owl kick. I may have to make some of those skirts for dd with mu huge, unused fabric stash. Lovely!

Very cute! Are they going to be gifts?
Well, no they aren't gifts..:O They are for my daughter's and I needed them a couple of times during the sewing process to make sure I fit them right. So they know about them. DD2 says they are "princess skirts" :giggle I have done three more since I posted this picture. I have to go get some more white t shirts to decorate!! Thanks for the encouragement everyone :)

here is the blog http://indietutes.blogspot.com/2008/11/tiered-skirt-aka-twirl-skirt.html That's how I did the skirt. As far as the shirt, I just drew a picture of what I wanted it to look like and cut out some fabric to make it look like I wanted it to :)
I bought the fabric at Hobby Lobby :)
