crochet doll sling

does anyone have any advice for crafting such a thing? like how long it should be, should it get wider at the pouch or would that just be confusing, should it be really wide and just fold over at the shoulder. i've been on a crochet kick lately and already made a doll blanket and almost done with my 2nd doll diaper. if i can get a sling done, i want to give them to my son for his bday in feb.

well i decided to just start and make it up as i go. i needed something to do. lol

if you Google rev. Jan made a full-size crochet pouch. Just take into account the stretch out factor.

Were I to do one, I would start smallish and then increase by two or four stitches after a while, maybe one increase-on-each-end row, then one solid row, one increase row, etc. then after you have your wide part finished, do equal decreases till you get back to the size you started at.

Does that make a whip of sense? :bag
