I don't seem to bake as much at Christmas as I make candy. Last year it was sponge toffee and candied orange and grapefruit peel.
This year I'll make the sponge toffee again (drizzled with chocolate and sprinkled with salt). And I'll be making bacon walnut fudge, bacon caramel corn and pretzel rods wrapped in salted beer caramel. I'm giving the popcorn as a hostess gift, and will make up a sampler package of the rest to give my new brother in law for Christmas instead of buying him a box of chocolates.
Who else makes candy this time of year? And what do you make?
