Anybody grow plums?

I've got 2 plums trees that are getting ripe and I'd love some ideas of what to do with all of them! :sillygrin

You could dry them, or can them, or make them into plumsauce.

I wouldn't be able to do anything with them. I'd eat so many of them I'd be sick! :sillygrin

I was thinking about Jam, but I have a SERIOUS amount of plums... like 12 kilos (26.5 lbs) of them.

One of the branches broke and I got them off of it and most of them are still a little green. So I still have another tree and a half of plums yet to be picked (the oval purple kind), and then another big tree of a different kind of plums (the round red kind).

I really doubt we'll ever eat that much plum jam!

My sister has a plum tree. Jam, BBQ sauce, and plum sauce.

Plum sauce so you don't have to buy the HFCS laden stuff at the store. Orange plum jam (from the red ones) to give as gifts. You can prep the plums for either recipe & freeze for use later if you run out of time.
